PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island (January 9, 2013) ? Minuteman Press Providence-Warwick, specializing in business communications printing, document management technology, and consumer print production, today announced it has appointed Bob Salvas as marketing director. Salvas will be responsible for developing new business relationships for the company?s printing, direct mail, and marketing divisions.
Salvas has over 22 years of experience with the United States Postal Service primarily in the marketing and communications department in Providence, Rhode Island.? He has been a marketing consultant for small businesses in Southern New England for the last ten years.

Salvas is a certified SCORE counselor and an assistant director in Business Networking International (BNI), the largest business networking and referral organization in the world.? He also serves on the executive board of the local Rhode Island chapter of the Postal Customer Council (Providence PCC), the main industry group dealing with direct mail and mailing issues. Salvas has been a featured speaker on the topic of direct mail at Chambers of Commerce, the RI Small Business Recovery Program, regional and national mailing industry conferences.
Salvas lives in Cumberland RI with his wife Patrice and their two teenage children, Benjamin and Abbey.
