Hi all-

We wanted to share with you a new article in the Lancet by Felicia Knaul and others that analyzes Seguro Popular - Mexico's universal health insurance program that covers more than 50 million people. The article highlights the success of Seguro Popular in guaranteeing social protection of health across three components: against health risks, for patients through quality assurance of health care, and against financial consequences of disease or injury.
