Classifying your skin type and what it really needs is important. If you have dry, oily or normal skin, you would need to address that specifically. You must be able to identify the different herbs, essential oils, butter, vitamins, botanical ingredients and additives that will become effective for your home-made cream. Would you want to make a day or night cream, a moisturizer or a barrier cream? These are the questions that you need to answer.
